Using ads to guide users towards browser-based subscription paths
Freeletics designed a browser-hosted subscription flow that they use for all their acquisition campaigns on social media. This means that each subscription is 100% revenue (minus the cost of acquisition), compared to receiving 70% or 85% of revenues for in-app subscriptions. Example here on Facebook.
